The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the senior compliance team with implementing anti-money laundering policies and procedures and day-to-day compliance matters as they relate to the provision of corporate administration and fiduciary services in Cayman to ensure risks and issues are identified, managed and controlled.
The successful candidate will provide such compliance support while upholding the AGS core values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and leadership.

The Program is a 2 year training programme. Within the initial year, each Trainee will have to complete 3 four month seats in the following practice areas: Corporate, Dispute Resolution, and Insurance. Each Trainee is assigned a mentor in the seat they are sitting and is assessed by their mentor at the mid-way point and at the end of their seat.
After successfully completing the first year of training, Trainees will be eligible to be called to the Bermuda Bar. Following their call to the Bermuda Bar each Trainee will complete 1 twelve month seats in the practice areas of their choice

This Internship provides hands-on experience in Corporate Administration, Onboarding or Compliance allowing interns to gain practical skills and insight into Bermuda’s corporate services landscape. Interns will assist with various administrative tasks, support client service operations, and work closely with experienced professionals, providing them with an opportunity to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Each year Appleby provides internships to a number of Bermudian college and university students, in a number of legal practice areas.
To manage a portfolio of client companies and provide quality corporate administration services in respect of registered office and company secretarial aspects in the formation of Jersey, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Mauritius and the Seychelles companies and delivery of company secretarial and governance services thereto including transfer agency and transactional approval in a timely and efficient manner whilst upholding AGS’ core values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and leadership.
