Compliance Administrator

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify and process compliance and risk assessment documentation in connection with the client on-boarding process and ongoing compliance monitoring
  • Ensure that client identification documents are maintained in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Create and maintain the necessary physical and electronic files for storing CDD
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of client risk and client due diligence documentation
  • Conduct ongoing public and system searches of the client database
  • Ensure that systems are kept up to date, administering changes requested by the Head of Compliance and Risk or the Relationship Managers where appropriate
  • Provide compliance guidance to other staff members under the supervision of the Head of Compliance and Risk
  • Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders in relation to the collection and processing of client due diligence and related compliance matters
  • Assist with compliance projects and tasks, as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a compliance role, preferably within the corporate and fiduciary services sector
  • A business, legal or compliance qualification is desired, but not essential
  • Thorough knowledge of KYC/CDD requirements, AML and CTF regulations in the Cayman Islands
  • The position requires attention to detail and good time management skills as well as a high degree of integrity and a proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and work well with a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound organizational skills and ability to work under time pressure and extended work hours when required
  • A strong sense of commitment and responsibility

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be in the range of US$55,000–US$75,000 per annum plus benefits.
