APPLEBY JERSEY IS LAUNCHING ITS LEGAL TRAINING PROGRAMME IN SEPTEMBER 2024
Aspiring lawyers will have the opportunity to join an international law firm on a two-year training contract and rotate through various transactional teams, known as “seats”.
During the training contract, trainees will gain 2 years of practical work experience while developing their skills in both contentious and non-contentious areas of legal practice and studying the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (“SQE”) or Jersey Law Course. Appleby will cover the full cost of the courses and exams.
Trainees will be assigned a mentor and buddy from day 1 who will provide support and guidance, as well as constant feedback, to build on strengths and tackle areas for development.
Upon successful completion of the programme and qualification, trainees will be encouraged to apply for a newly-qualified position within our Jersey office.
