Marketing Assistant

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Appleby communications for the Cayman and BVI offices which involves the execution of traditional, digital and social media content
  • Manage the Appleby public relations schedule to ensure timely, relevant and regular updates, aligned to the Appleby Group’s PR strategy and development plans
  • Responsible for the development and distribution of social media graphics as well as upload of e-alert and website content
  • Maintain and update collateral and brochure-ware
  • Assist with the delivery of employer brand plans, including regional campaigns
  • Assist with the delivery of local and international events including the Appleby Key Client and Intermediary programme
  • Collaborate with the HR team in relation to recruitment drives
  • Work with the Global Marketing Team to ensure the relevant Appleby branding, imagery and key messaging are used throughout all business development, marketing, communications, social media and PR activities
  • Support the production of quarterly communications measurement reports for all Appleby Cayman and BVI related communications. These reports should include the use of Google analytics
  • Responsible for the sourcing of client hospitality gifts, including local and overseas Christmas gifts
  • Manage promotional items inventory, including the ordering of Appleby branded merchandise for in-house use, special events and conferences, and the preparation of welcome packs for new arrivals
  • Be a part of the Appleby social committee and work with other members to deliver staff events and initiatives
  • Assist the Senior Business Development Manager with the implementation of the firm’s CSR programme
  • Assist with InterAction account set-up and ticket cleaning
  • Other administrative tasks as required including the processing of invoices

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of two years’ business development or marketing experience within a professional services environment
  • A University degree in marketing, business or related field is preferred
  • Experience in the use of InterAction (or similar CRM system)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office programmes and social media platforms
  • An understanding of Google analytics
  • A willingness to sometimes work outside of normal office hours
  • A confident communicator with high levels of attention to detail in copywriting and written communications
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work across time-zones with an energetic and creative team
  • A team player who understands and has experience of working for a global business
  • Ability to communicate fluently with suppliers and partners across various jurisdictions

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be in the range of US$55,000–US$65,000 per annum plus benefits.
