Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with AEOI registration services – IRS GIIN and local portals
- Record and maintain client classifications and registration details including preparing W Tax forms and Self-Certification forms
- Assist with AEOI annual filing submissions
- Collect and organize data, forms, and documents related to Economic Substance Notifications and Returns
- Maintain Economic Substance classification data for registered office clients in ViewPoint
- Assist with annual filing submissions for Economic Substance Notifications and Returns, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Assist with the recording and maintaining Beneficial Ownership classifications in ViewPoint
- Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the Regulatory Services Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a regulated financial services provider
- Minimum of an associate degree, or currently pursuing/completing a university degree
- Some knowledge and understanding of Cayman Islands regulatory laws and guidance notes
- Experience with AEOI filing requirements, Economic Substance Notification and Return filing requirements, and Beneficial Ownership would be advantageous
- The position requires attention to detail and good time management skills as well as a high degree of integrity and a proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically MS Excel. Knowledge of iManage and ViewPoint would be an asset
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under time pressure and extended hours when required
- A strong sense of commitment and responsibility
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Starting salary for this position is US$40,000 per annum plus benefits.
