Principal duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Handling a diverse range of residential, commercial and general property transactions.
• Reviewing and preparing conveyances, leases, mortgages, security documents and other deeds and documents of a novel nature.
• Keeping up to date with developments within Bermuda’s property market, related legislation and local customs and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Must have a high level of competence within the scope of Property practice area
• Must be a qualified lawyer having a minimum five years’ post qualification experience
• Able to run complex and challenging matters with minimal supervision
• Able to deal effectively and communicate efficiently with clients and staff
