Appleby (Cayman) Ltd. are seeking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic corporate lawyer with a strong focus on public M&A/capital markets matters to join their market-leading Corporate Practice Group.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border and initial public offerings across a wide range of sectors. Our clients include major private equity and venture capital funds, listed companies (including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies), financial services businesses, tech companies and other large privately-owned businesses and investment companies.
Applicants must have in excess of 5 years' post qualified experience in corporate transactions, with an emphasis on public M&A and capital markets, in addition to a strong academic record. Experience in joint ventures, private equity, corporate restructurings and governance, corporate finance and general corporate matters is also strongly preferred.
Applicants for this role must demonstrate the ability to maintain existing client relationships and continue to build on current relationships that attract future work and client referral.
Applicants should also be able to handle a large caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
