This role offers the opportunity to advise financial institutions, multinational corporations, insurers/reinsurers, technology companies, governments, regulators and other public authorities, asset managers, private equity sponsors, investment funds, administrators and other entities and individuals on regulatory and compliance matters, including all regulatory aspects of the formation, management, operation and termination of companies, partnerships and other vehicles in the Cayman Islands.

Applicants should have in excess of 5 years' post qualification experience in a regulatory/compliance practice area, in addition to a strong academic record. Experience as a financial services regulatory lawyer with knowledge of licensing, registration and approval requirements, reporting and information exchange obligations, and AML/CFT/CPF is strongly preferred.

Applicants for this role must demonstrate an ability to maintain and develop existing client relationships and to build on current relationships that may attract work and client referrals in the future.

Applicants should also be comfortable and competent handling significant client-facing workflow with reasonable supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team are essential.
